Binational Health Week Binational Health Week’s success is rooted in the dedication and enthusiasm of thousands of volunteers as well as with the governments of the countries of Mexico, Central and South America who are committed to preserve and protect the health of their co-nationals living and working in the USA and Canada. BHW developed a media strategy in order to reach the Latino population and circulate information on the work done in the health arena. The media’s key function is to increase public awareness on health topics that affect the Latino population, disseminate information on health practices and activities and play a leadership role by interviewing health service providers, researchers, high government officials and community leaders’ on the topic of Migration and Health.
